Despite a recent safety scare, former President Donald Trump intends to continue as a speaker at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The news follows an assassination attempt on July 13, but the incident hasn’t deterred Mr. Trump from his commitment to the cryptocurrency event, according to organizer David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine.
Sharing the news on X.com, Bailey confirmed that Trump is not only unshaken, but “in good spirits.”
“Trump is excited to see you all in Nashville and deliver a speech that is heard around the world,” Bailey said. This update came after a fresh conversation with the former president’s team, further solidifying that Trump was undeterred by the recent attempt on his life.
Trump’s decision to take part in the high-profile event was confirmed earlier this week, before the assassination attempt. The conference is scheduled to take place from July 25 to July 27, with Trump’s speech slated for the final day.
