The creators of the massively popular PUBG series have decided to team up with Solana to launch an “assault” into the NFT battlegrounds.
Video games have come a long way in recent decades, and online gaming, in particular, has become a hotbed for cutting-edge crypto innovation, with the world’s top video game producers experimenting with Web3 gaming, leveraging NFT assets and cryptocurrency-based ecosystems.
On Wednesday, Krafton, the creator of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), announced a strategic agreement with blockchain technology platform Solana Labs to promote the creation and promotion of blockchain-based games and services.
Following the phenomenal success of PUBG, the company is looking at blockchain gaming. By co-creating new blockchain games and enterprises and looking for associated investment opportunities, the two will forge a lasting connection.
