MMCrypto was joined by BitBoy Ben in his new video to discuss Cardano moonshot, price prediction and potentials to displace Ethereum as second largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
Ben says he is not really sure if Cardano can surpass Ethereum in the current bull run but believes Cardano does have a great chance to overtake Ethereum in the long term with the mainstream now starting to look at Cardano (1:50).
Ben believes institutional investors will still buy Ethereum, but the fundamental reasons why retail investors are bullish on Cardano at the moment is the fact that the proof-of-stake blockchain platform solves the scalability and high gas fees problem on the Ethereum network (4:20).
Ben reiterates his believe about Cardano overtaking Ethereum as the number #2 cryptocurrency but Ethereum market cap($180B) is about 4.5x Cardano’s(40B) and Cardano will have to go on a bigger bull run from here than Ethereum.
Ben’s price prediction for $ADA is $50. He added he sees Cardano and Ethereum fight back and
forth with one another in the future (7:33).
