Following the introduction of a new javascript library to connect with the protocol, MATIC, the Polygon native network currency, has risen to $2.4.
The new open-source javascript library matic.js will enable APIs for deposits, withdrawals, and other forms of transfers on the Polygon network, according to the organization’s blog post.
The main focus of v3 is to aid the developers in creating and deploying applications effortlessly, ensuring support for different ecosystems and releasing ready-to-use developer-friendly APIs.
Some of the important features in version 3 are Support for ethers, Reduced bundle size, Better API naming, Plugin support for shipping different functionalities in separate packages, Better documentation, FxPortal, ABI config can be changed, ABI can be loaded on demand, some additional API’s like – `isDeposited`, `isCheckpointed`, and more.
