The hybrid edition of Crypto Fest 2022, which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa in Autumn, has been revealed by Bitcoin Events to have Polygon as its title sponsor.

Polygon is dedicated to supporting the development of Web3 apps by offering the architecture required for the upcoming internet.
Developers can create scalable, user-friendly DApps with cheap transaction fees and without compromising security thanks to the decentralized Ethereum scaling platform. The Polygon platform has been utilized by over 20,000 DApps to scale their programs.

Developer relations at Polygon’s Shodipo Ayomide stated: “We are excited to be joining the 2022 edition of Crypto Fest as the title sponsor, and we are looking forward to supporting more conferences like this in South Africa and across Africa as a whole.”
Dalip Tyagi, developer relations at Polygon, said: “I’m excited about the happenings in Africa and I can’t wait to experience Crypto Fest this September 2022.”
Muskan Kalra, developer relations at Polygon, said, “When I heard about Cryptofest from Ayo, I researched it and was ultimately impressed, I was sure this is one event in Africa that we cannot miss.”
The Crypto Fest has grown to be a well-liked annual occasion. This year, it is a component of Cape Town’s Week of Innovation, a cooperation with the SA Innovation Summit, the continent’s largest startup event, which runs from September 27 to September 29, 2022.
More than 2,000 participants will attend this event on September 30 in Cape Town, South Africa, either in person or digitally. Leading international speakers will provide their perspectives on hot issues like nonfungible coins, the Metaverse, Web3, and decentralized finance (DeFi).

The satirical comedy film “Don’t Look Up” serves as the inspiration for the Crypto Fest 2022 theme, “(Don’t) Look Up.” The crypto-DeFi-NFT-Web3 space is changing, therefore it’s important to “look up” and take note of both the changes and the opportunities.
The Crypto Fest will host a one-of-a-kind experience on how the crypto-DeFi-NFT-Web3 technologies and communities are changing the worlds of finance, investing, art, music, sport, gaming, entertainment, marketing, governance, and more. It will also spark difficult conversations and important debates.
The first firm to host renowned blockchain and cryptocurrency-specific events in Africa is Bitcoin Events. Eight Blockchain Africa Conferences were successfully held by the company in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and online.
The Crypto Fest and DeFi Conferences were introduced in 2019 and 2020, respectively, by Bitcoin Events. These events drew over 15,000 attendees from 165 nations and 270 international speakers.
