Cardano developer IOHK announced a collaboration with Chainlink on September 25 at the Cardano Summit, which will result in the integration of Chainlink’s oracles into the Cardano blockchain.
Through Chainlink’s decentralized oracle networks for Cardano DeFi apps, developers will be able to create smart contracts and have secure access to a variety of real-world data.
Chainlink oracles, according to IOHK founder Charles Hoskinson, are required for advanced smart contracts and will feed real-world data to the Cardano blockchain. He stressed that Cardano’s goal is to provide developers with the finest tools for generating real-world solutions.
Hoskinson feels that the Chainlink oracle integration will also serve as an excellent foundation for the Cardano DeFi ecosystem.
